Walking Bambi and F I R

Walking Bambi and F I R

On our morning walk yesterday, we were about halfway to Brown’s Road on Smithee Lane, when we noticed a young buck following us.  We continued on and he followed us all the way to the mailboxes, and when we turned around, I passed close enough that I could have reached out and petted him.  He then followed us all the way home and right up to the gate into the breezeway, then stuck his pretty head right in through the spaces on the gate and licked my hand while I talked to him, and Leland took a couple of pictures.

Later on his afternoon walk (I was planting flowers) "Bambi" again followed Leland the whole way.  One of the neighbors was talking to Leland about it, and they decided Bambi was probably raised by humans and is lonely. While they were talking, “Bambi” stood right there while the neighbor petted him.

We have added Far Infra Red as an adjunctive treatment to Leland’s regimen.  Far Infra Red is part of the sunlight spectrum, developed by NASA for the astronaut program and has been used for decades in Japan and Germany as a healing modality for several diseases, including cancer.  Dr. D recommended it, and research showed us as usual, he is correct and on the cutting edge, so we ordered one. It arrived on Thursday, and we assembled it on Friday-a good job done, and not too awfully hard, but a little too much for Leland right now as he was really exhausted when we finished.  I wanted to ask someone for help but he insisted he could do it with my help.  We won’t make that mistake again! He recovered well though, and we are confident this will be a real asset to his healing program as Dr D advised.

Far Infra Red Rays are healing and penetrating and function by warming the deeper tissues without heating the air to the degree that a traditional sauna does. There is much research on Thermotherapy which is ongoing showing real promise that heat does indeed destroy cancer cells.  This was first noticed in the 1800s by a couple of doctors tending  cancer patients who developed fevers from another source, and after recovery from the fever, were cured of the cancers. They  then deliberately experimented with exposing cancer patients to infection in order to bring on a fever and hopefully a cure-sometimes successful and sometimes not.

We of course have no guarantee, but are proceeding on faith that God is guiding us. Being told by not just one but two MDs that medicine had no cure to offer made this course we are on look much more rational and attractive.  While it is not easy, it is filled with hope and trust that all will come out as God designs for us.

A special Thank you to Yvonne and David along with Galen who came over this am and worked on splitting our winter wood.  They did about half the pile, and left the splitter, so we know they will be back.  What a blessing this is!  Reminds me of the song "Great is Thy Faithfulness", especially the line that says "All I have needed, Thy Hand has provided."  We could not see all that God would provide through the loving service of friends and family, too much to mention every thing here, but  a graphic reminder that truely, we do not need to worry about anything, for He will see to it that we have all that we need! It is an entirely new lesson for us, as we have always been able to do what we needed to have done ourselves,  and help others besides.

  1. Sounds like Bambi is walking you :) I love the deer and their inate sense of good and bad. He probably would come on in if you would let him.

On a more serious note, none of us have a guarantee in life and have to live our lives the best we can with the information we are given. You two are wonderful examples of strength and faith, and are never out of my thoughts these days. Love to both of you, along with my prayers.

  2. I have a Far Infra Red Sauna under our bed here in the the 5th wheel. I have spent many hours in it. I had to take it easy not to make me to sick. Quite exhausting. Haven't been in it for a while. Mine is a portable one that I can tuck away.
We'll be praying that this will add to your healing, Leland. Yes I think that Dr. D. is up on things, constantly studying. God bless, we continue to intercede in you behalf. Love you Guys, Geri (Les too)

  3. Isn't it great when we "get" to interact with God's other creatures? This week I saw 3 deer in my field on Monday. Tuesday I was standing at the window watching it get light and saw Mr & Mrs Friendly Fox( yes, I name the ones I know! Carryover from Sam Campbell days maybe!) trotting down the road toward home. They live under our neighbors big red barn. Then on Wednesday I asked the Lord, Well, what am I going to see today? I looked and a different fox was trotting down my driveway, not 25' from my door! He'd probably been up investigating whether Keith had left the chicken house door open again! Nothing on Friday but this morning I'm watching the day begin and notice SIX deer in my field. These are the reasons I live where I do!! God is SO good to us!!

Keep on keepin' on! Sounds like you have an excellent Dr. I learned some things about the heavy metals, which I have an abundance of also, that I wasn't aware of.

    Happy Sabbath!!
